A few words about me
After living on Madeira for 2,5 years, I studied the island every day. I was amazed at how many beautiful and underrated places are on the island, truly hidden gems deep within that deserve every explorer’s attention, but finding them is not always an easy task. I explored them all and am ready to share my experiences with you.

Day 1: Arrival and Funchal Exploration
- 10 AM - Transfer from the airport to your accommodation
- 11 AM - Free time and swimming at Doca do Cavacas (5 min from the hotel, entrance fee not included)
- 1 PM - Lunch at the hotel. Meetup and briefing with other group members.
- 2.30 PM - Explore the historic city center of Funchal, including a tasting of exotic fruits at the farmers’ market
- 4 PM - Take the cable car up to Monte for panoramic views and visit the Monte Palace Tropical Garden
- 7 PM - Seaside promenade and sunset watching.
- 8 PM - Dinner at the hotel (buffet), followed by free time.
Day 2: Discovering Levada Walks and Coastal views
- 9 AM - Depart for a hike, such as the Levada do Caldeirão Verde or Vereda do Larano (about 4-5 hours)
- 2 PM - Lunch and wine tasting at the best restaurant on the Northeast Coast.
- 4 PM - Exploration of Madeira's epic viewpoints and other landscape attractions
- 8 PM - Return to Hotel, Dinner and Free Time
Day 3: Outdoor Adventures and Mountains Exploration
- 9 AM - Experience an adrenaline-filled activity, such as canyoning (about 4-5 hours)
- 2 PM - Break for lunch and visit the picturesque village of Curral das Freiras
- 3 PM - Enjoy breathtaking views from Eira do Serrado and Paredão, and explore hidden viewpoints and unique attractions in Madeira’s central highlands.
- 8 PM - Sunset at Pico do Arieiro (the third-highest peak in Madeira)
- 9 PM - Return to the hotel (Free time to relax at your accommodation)
Day 4: North Coast Exploration and Rabacal Hike
- 9 AM – Jeep Safari Adventure (Bica da Cana – highest point in the west)
- 10 AM – Visit Fanal (ancient laurel forest)
- 11 PM – Hike from Canal to Chao da Ribeira Valley (about 3 hours)
- 2 PM – Lunch & free time in Porto Moniz
- 3 PM – Jeep tour (Ribeira da Janela, Seixal Beach, São Vicente)
- Evening – Return to Hotel
Day 5: Departure
- 10 AM - Check out of your accommodation
- 11 AM - Transfer to the airport for your departure
