• The organizer reserves the right to adjust the program in case of unfavorable weather conditions, government decisions, or other circumstances that affect safety and the execution of the program.
• Specific routes, activities, or schedules may be changed, rescheduled, or replaced with alternative options without providing compensation, as all adjustments are made solely to ensure participants’ safety and comfort.
• All decisions regarding adjustments are made by the organizer exclusively in the interest of safety and logistics.
• Each participant must have valid medical insurance that covers active leisure, including hiking and canyoning.
• Responsibility for obtaining insurance lies with the participant. The organizer cannot influence the insurance company’s decision regarding coverage.
Insurance can be purchased independently in your country or through the following recommended services: for US citizens, for European residents and other jurisdictions.
• By joining the tour, the participant confirms that their physical and mental health condition allows them to safely participate in all activities.
• All chronic conditions, allergies, and other medical specifics must be communicated to the organizer before the start of the tour.
• The organizer is not responsible for worsening conditions or other medical consequences not disclosed in advance.
• If medical assistance is required during the trip, all related expenses are to be covered by the participant.
• Each participant confirms that they have a sufficient level of physical fitness and health to safely take part in the tour’s activities.
• Some routes and activities require high endurance and readiness. If a participant is unable to continue due to health or fitness reasons, the organizer is not obliged to provide an individual alternative.
• Participants are required to bring appropriate gear (e.g., waterproof hiking boots, rain jacket, long pants instead of shorts, backpack, flashlight).
• The organizer may restrict participation in activities if a participant’s gear, health, or fitness level poses risks to their safety or to the group.
• The organizer is not responsible for flight delays, lost luggage, or other issues related to third-party transportation providers.
• If a participant is late for a transfer or meeting, they may miss an activity without compensation.
• Routes and schedules may change due to reasons beyond the organizer’s control (e.g., traffic jams, accidents, vehicle breakdowns, travel restrictions).
• The tour price includes: airport transfers (arrival and departure), all program transfers, guide support, off-road jeeps, entrance tickets to Monte Palace Tropical Garden and the cable car, fruit and wine tastings, hotel accommodation (twin rooms unless otherwise agreed), breakfasts, lunches and dinners as per the program, canyoning activity, as well as any upgrades or additional services agreed with the participant and specified in their voucher.
• The tour price does not include: flights to Madeira, medical insurance, personal expenses, individual services (spa, massages, excursions outside the program), alcohol (except for tastings included in the program), visits to the natural pools of Doca do Cavacas, or any other services not explicitly mentioned in the “Included” section.
• Photos and videos may be taken during the tour to document activities and for further promotional use.
• By joining the tour, participants agree to the possible use of their image without financial compensation unless otherwise agreed in writing in advance.
• The organizer does not guarantee individual photo or video materials for each participant.
• Participants must follow rules that ensure a safe, respectful, and comfortable atmosphere in the group.
• Aggression, insults, toxic or inappropriate behavior, and any form of discrimination (based on race, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or age) are strictly prohibited.
• Political or religious debates are not allowed.
• In case of aggressive, disruptive, dangerous, or provocative behavior, a participant may be excluded from the program or tour. In such cases, all related expenses for further logistics are the responsibility of the participant. This decision is always made to protect the atmosphere and safety of the group.
• In cases of serious misconduct, the organizer may initiate the participant’s eviction from the hotel, with all related expenses borne by the participant.
• The organizer and guides reserve the right to make final decisions regarding a participant’s continued involvement in the program if their behavior threatens the safety, comfort, or atmosphere of the group. Such decisions are always made in the interest of the entire group and to maintain a safe and friendly environment.
• All activities are conducted as part of the group.
• Participants must follow the pace set by the guide and stick to the route.
• In case of lateness, the group will continue with the program, and compensation for the missed activity will not be provided.
• Participants cannot demand individual guidance or changes to the program for personal preferences.
• All participants are expected to respect the group and maintain an atmosphere free of conflict or toxic behavior.
• The organizer is not responsible for events beyond their control, including natural disasters, severe weather conditions, epidemics, strikes, accidents, travel restrictions, government decisions, or the closure of roads or tourist sites.
• In such cases, the organizer may modify, shorten, or cancel parts of the program without refund.
• All such decisions are made in the interest of participants’ safety and logistical feasibility.
• Such situations do not constitute grounds for refunds or compensation, as all adjustments are made in good faith to ensure participant safety and overall trip quality.
• During official program activities, participants must remain with the group and may not leave the route without informing the guide.
• Any activities outside the official program (evening walks, personal trips, free time activities) are undertaken at the participant’s own risk and responsibility.
• The organizer is not responsible for any incidents involving participants outside the official program.
• If a participant decides not to join a program activity, they must inform the guide or organizer. In such cases, the organizer bears no responsibility for their independent actions or consequences.
• Each participant is responsible for their own belongings, documents, and valuables during the tour.
• The organizer is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to participants’ personal property.
• It is recommended to insure valuables, use hotel safes, and carry copies of important documents.
All rules and conditions are established solely to ensure the safety, comfort, and positive experiences of all participants.
